The Dramarama
group meet every Monday between 4.00 – 6.00pm at Peppercorns.
The group regularly perform at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford.

The
Drama group has over twenty five students and is supported by
three volunteers and two members of staff. As well as preparing
for performances the group carry out drama related exercises such
as learning to be confident or shy person. The group also incorporates
dance and movement into their sessions.
The Drama
group is monitored by a steering group which consists of a small
number of Dramarama students who meet on a monthly basis to discuss
activities at Drama.
Dramarama
members have many aims for the future which include increasing meetings
to twice weekly, working with other drama groups and local schools
and visiting professional performances. The group would also like
to introduce more drama methods into the group which a particular
interest in what goes in to making a performance. Methods include
scenery, mask, make up and costume design, film making, poems and
stories, script writing, using sign language in performances, taking
photographs/filming and using music in performances.
